45/15 (2)

Used two cycles, went to bed, and now I'm on my 3rd before the big exam. Everything seems to have worked out well. I feel like I have a decent grasp of the concepts. We'll see how I feel after the test though. The 45/15 cycle is truly effective, however because I've only used it for short periods I can't testify for it's long-lasting ability. Additionally, the 15 break is something that I've struggled with (already) to remain consistent with.

I think I'll be attempting the 30/30 cycle soon. It'll be interesting to see if 'forcing' myself to play half of the time means that I'll actually be more productive.

45/15 Start

It's crunch time. I've got an exam in exactly 9 hours 30 minutes. In this heightened state of pressure, it seems a great time to pursue a lifehack. In comes the 45/15 study cycle.
  1. Intensive study for 45 min
  2. Relaxing break for 15 min
Critics argue that significant time will be lost refocusing onto a task, hopefully this will be offset by the time pressure. Additionally I think that good genetics allows me to focus relatively quickly (Thanks Mom & Dad). Aight, it's 2:30 am right now and the first cycle starts now!

Some short stories I would like to write

-Adaptation of Mx0
-Tris meets her mom - teh ball
-Finishing of Briar's tidbit

Tis the Summer

So the season is here and I've got plans! Here's a list of the must-do

Euler Group - UCRRP Website / NGO Website
NVSD-GCSD - Summer Job at Fort Belvoir
USIP - US Institiute of Peace Coacher-Person
Beach Week - With the IRO Folks

Not bad eh?

Also - I just finished reading Erin Colfer's Time Paradox - a very entertaining read but had (or more accurately had-not) things I was looking for. This includes how Artemis never says Butler's real name to win him over -- and how Minerva never shows up... Both rather big factors in my opinion.

Idea #1

So I'm doing laundry - a very down to earthy task, and I couldn't resist stripping and donning those straight-out-of-the dryer clothes. Man they feel so good. So here's my first idea, why not take all those self warming blankets, and adapt it to some clothes. Stick a few wires into a t-shirt and voila: freshly toasted laundry via the click of a button. I'd definitly buy one...

Let the Drama Kid Die

Elation, creation, incarceration, determination... Equation, humiliation, reincarnation, situation...
Great song - except I mistook the lyrics.
