45/15 (2)

Used two cycles, went to bed, and now I'm on my 3rd before the big exam. Everything seems to have worked out well. I feel like I have a decent grasp of the concepts. We'll see how I feel after the test though. The 45/15 cycle is truly effective, however because I've only used it for short periods I can't testify for it's long-lasting ability. Additionally, the 15 break is something that I've struggled with (already) to remain consistent with.

I think I'll be attempting the 30/30 cycle soon. It'll be interesting to see if 'forcing' myself to play half of the time means that I'll actually be more productive.

45/15 Start

It's crunch time. I've got an exam in exactly 9 hours 30 minutes. In this heightened state of pressure, it seems a great time to pursue a lifehack. In comes the 45/15 study cycle.
  1. Intensive study for 45 min
  2. Relaxing break for 15 min
Critics argue that significant time will be lost refocusing onto a task, hopefully this will be offset by the time pressure. Additionally I think that good genetics allows me to focus relatively quickly (Thanks Mom & Dad). Aight, it's 2:30 am right now and the first cycle starts now!
